23 February 2022

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope that you and your family are staying safe and healthy as we continue to fight against COVID-19.

It has been such a difficult period for all of us this past two years but I am always encouraged by the incredible fortitude and unrelenting support that you continue to show throughout this pandemic. There is no question that as long as we remain united in supporting each other, follow public health directives, and as more people get vaccinated, we will be able to overcome the challenges of this pandemic.

Although the resurgence of COVID-19 remains to be a threat in our lives, we are determined to keep moving forward and embrace this new normal. Our team, together with the Department of Education and other experts, have been working tirelessly to plan and prepare for the upcoming school year 2022 - 2023. The health and well-being of your child guides every decision we make and we always work in the best interest of your child, your family, and our whole community.

With that said, I would like to make some important announcements as we head toward the end of the academic year. Please read the following carefully and be guided accordingly:

Distance Learning will Continue

We will continue to offer Flexible Study Program (Pure Online) and Home Study Program (HSP).

Hybrid Learning Program

We have been preparing a new program in consultation with various agencies and experts, which would involve the combination of online and face-to-face classes. We call this the Hybrid Learning Program or HLP. Note however that the implementation of this new program would depend on the directives of the government and/or the Department of Education. As of this writing, there is no clear guidelines and go-ahead signal yet on the implementation of a limited face-to-face classes from the government. We will release a comprehensive implementation plan for Hybrid Learning Program in the next coming days.

No Tuition Fee Increase Except for Hybrid Learning Program

Tuition fees for Flexible Study Program and Home Study Program will remain the same. However, there will be adjustments on the tuition fees for Hybrid Learning Program (HLP) due to the additional tools and requirements for face-to-face classes. Adjusted tuition fees for Hybrid Learning Program will be released soon along with the Implementation Plan.
