Last Saturday, parents gathered together for a fun and informative parenting workshop on plant-based nutrition. The event started with a fun game, “Vegetable Bingo”, which immediately set the tone for the engaging and interactive session.
Registered nutritionist and dietician, Ms. Irvina Ramos, led the discussion, which centered around the myths about plant-based nutrition and the benefits of a plant-based diet for raising healthy children while also caring for the planet. Parents were amazed to learn how a plant-based diet can provide all the necessary nutrients for children's growth and development while also being environmentally sustainable.
But the excitement didn't stop there! Chef Christian of Cruising Platos took the stage to demonstrate cooking plant-based recipes using locally grown produce or ingredients. His cooking demo was truly amazing and left everyone in awe. Parents were thrilled to learn how easy it is to cook delicious and nutritious plant-based meals, such as mushroom tocino, mushroom barbecue, scrambled tofu, and pumpkin soup.
The workshop was a perfect blend of fun and informative activities that catered to all parents who want to raise healthy and happy children. It was a great opportunity to learn and connect with other like-minded parents.
If you missed this event, don't worry! There will be more exciting parenting workshops in the future. We encourage you to attend and participate in the upcoming activities that interest you. Let us know what topics or activities you want to attend next, and we will do our best to provide them. We hope to see you in our future parenting events.
