Updates on School Activities - 13 March 2020

Updated: Mar 14, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As you are all aware, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has officially announced the extension of class suspension in all levels in Metro Manila until April 14, 2020 as a preventive measure in the spread of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

We understand that this has been a very challenging time for all of us. We write to let you know that we are closely monitoring the situation and are following the directives and protocols set by the government in handling this health crisis. Aside from our regular cleaning and disinfecting efforts, we have also coordinated with the Department of Education - Division of Pasig on the conduct of intensive disinfection in our school.

Although classes have been suspended, we have alternative ways for our students to continue learning at home and ensure academic progress. The following are some of the activities that your child can work on at home starting next week:

  • Homework Packets - we have been preparing homework packets that your child can work on at home while the classes are suspended. These homework packets shall be available for download via this link starting Monday, March 16, 2020.

  • Book Activities - you may let your child answer the remaining activities / exercises in his/her books.

  • Other Learning Resources - we will also provide online resources that you can use in teaching your child at home.

We would also like to update you on the status of some of our school activities:

Cancelled Activities

  • Educational Field Trip - we will process the refund accordingly once our school operation resumes.

  • Final Examination / Assessment - DepEd will be issuing specific guidelines to determine the final grade of students who will not be able to take the fourth quarter exams due to class suspension.

Under Deliberation

  • Recognition Day and Moving Up Ceremony - all activities related to this event such as pictorial, rehearsals, etc. are also under deliberation.

At the end of the day, our priority is your health and safety and that of your family. Please continue to follow proper hand washing procedures and other precautionary measures at home.

We believe that collectively, through prayers and proper care, we can rise above this challenge. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe and healthy.
